We need ongoing help at the Franklin School library. In addition, there are many opportunities to volunteer for specific events throughout the year.
Square 1 Art Fundraiser
- Promote our fall fundraiser by making and distributing flyers
- Distribute instructions for art project to teachers
- Collect and mail student artwork
- Distribute gifts purchased to classrooms
Book Fairs
- Promote the book fair by making and distributing flyers
- Coordinate the book fair with Scholastic representatives
- Organize and recruit volunteers to run the book fairs
Spirit Wear Fundraiser
- Advertise spirit wear fundraiser
- Organize and distribute purchased “spirit wear” to classrooms
Professional Development Day & Teacher Appreciation Day
- Help us provide lunch for teachers and staff during their professional development day and teacher appreciation day
- Set up a catered lunch for teachers in the teacher lounge
- Pick up paper products and drinks
- Help decorate the teachers lounge
Family Curriculum Night and Lively Letter Concerts
- Would your child love to see you on stage? Here’s your chance! Sign up to be a “Lively Letter” vowel for the Franklin ECC’s Family Curriculum Night or during the school day.
- Pick up pizza and beverages for Family Curriculum Night
- Check people in and serve pizza at Family Curriculum Night
Read-a-thon
- Promote the fundraiser and find local sponsors
- Create and update a display at the school to show the school’s towards our reading and fundraising goal
- Distribute small prizes to classes after reaching reading goals
End of the Year Celebration
- Help organize and run our end of the year celebration
